JUNO Women Empowerment Foundation
1 in 3 women has experienced physical and/or sexual violence. “The pandemic has led to a steep increase in violence against women and girls. With lockdown measures in place, many women are trapped at home with their abusers, struggling to access services that are suffering from cuts and restrictions. Emerging data shows that, since the outbreak of the pandemic, violence against women and girls – and particularly domestic violence – has intensified.
We want to change this and make women and girls around the world stronger, more self-aware and safe through Self Defense and Resilience Training.
We aim to support social women empowerment projects and social causes around the world.
1. We provide trauma sensitive training for women who have experienced sexual violence.
2. We help local communities en non-profits in their awareness campaigns, providing empowerment training for women and girls.
3. Providing a JUNO Trainer program sponsorship for talented women.
