"Making human trafficking visible." This is the motto of the Centre against Child- and Human Trafficking (CKM), a Dutch non-governmental organisation which combats sexual and criminal exploitation in the Netherlands. Keywords that describe the work of CKM are innovation, research and political advocacy. We only have one goal: to stop exploitation in the Netherlands. To that end: CKM also participates in various high-profile (international) pilots, testing grounds and projects related to the fight against human trafficking. CKM is part of Fier, a national expertise and treatment centre in the field of violence in relationships of dependence (including loverboy issues). While Fier provides shelter and treatment for victims of human trafficking, CKM provides relevant and reliable reports, influences the political agenda and creates the necessary awareness in order to fight human trafficking effectively.
